What is First Friday?
An informal business networking event on the first Friday of each month. It's completely free - just turn up and buy your own food and drinks as you wish. There's no need to pre book, no 'lock-outs', no fees and no pressure!
What happens at a monthly meeting?
First Friday is unstructured, so you can get out of it what you want. Perhaps you'd like to meet new customers, new suppliers or new business partners. Or you may just want to meet and chat with other local people in business - to share experiences, talk about your recent successes or discuss mutual problems.
What should I bring?
Just bring a willingness to talk to new people, money for your food & drink (The Lamb does a range of very reasonably priced bar lunches) and plenty of business cards and promotional material!
It's not just who you know ... but who knows you!
You've probably heard all about the value of business networking. Word-of-mouth recommendation is a powerful way to gain new business. And what better way to nurture that than by getting to know people at a monthly event? After all it's not just about who you know, but who knows you!
